Local authorities confirm that Kyiv’s iconic Lavra Monastery was significantly damaged during tonight’s Russian drone and missile raid.
Firefighting efforts to preserve the structure are ongoing.
Boarded my flight at DCA National airport. Come to find out, the president of the United States has paused ALL flights because of the UFC fight at the White House.
The air traffic controllers were not warned, nor were the airport staff or travelers.
Menopause is such a fun little season of life
You're exhausted by 2 PM, wide awake at 3 AM, overstimulated by group texts, mysteriously puffier than yesterday, your brain clocks out mid-sentence, and you are one chewing sound away from a felony.
I love that for us
🚨 Kyiv is under a massive Russian air attack right now. One of Ukraine’s most sacred landmarks - the historic Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra - is on fire. Putin sends his birthday wishes to Donald Trump.

All rain and lightning is expected to miss The White House, although it’s hard to say it would miss the 8-mile zone to delay tonight’s fights. #dcwx
A new pill doubles survival time in patients — the breakthrough has left scientists stunned.
Pancreatic cancer has long been one of medicine's hardest battles — most patients are diagnosed only after the disease has already spread, and treatment options have barely moved the needle in decades. That may finally be changing.
Results from a major clinical trial, presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology's annual meeting in Chicago, show that a once-daily pill called daraxonrasib roughly doubled survival time for patients with advanced pancreatic cancer, with fewer side-effects than chemotherapy.
The numbers tell the story: in a trial of around 500 patients whose cancer had spread, those taking the pill lived an average of 13.2 months, compared with roughly 6.6 months on standard chemo.
Oncologists who weren't involved in the study have called the results unprecedented, with one veteran specialist admitting she cried in clinic when she read them. ASCO's chief medical officer went further, saying it wasn't just a home run but "a grand slam."
So how does it work? Daraxonrasib targets Kras, a protein that drives the vast majority of pancreatic cancers by telling cells to keep growing and dividing when they shouldn't. The drug essentially grabs and switches off this overactive protein — and crucially, it does so regardless of which Kras mutation a patient has. Researchers say this new class of "Ras(On)" inhibitors could open the door to a wider treatment revolution for a cancer that has resisted progress for far too long.

Trump's birthday White House UFC fight will only be streamed on Paramount+, which is owned by Trump mega-donor Larry Ellison.
The event is supposed to be a "gift to the American people," despite needing a paid subscription to watch.
This is not residual algae. This is not sabotage. This is not sea monkeys. This is not going away. This is the result of incompetence and creating a heat sink in a shallow non chlorinated pool.
