After 5 attempts party finally succeeds in milking cow. Not wanting to waste the milk party drinks milk. DM rewards anyone who drinks the milk temp HP. Players now trying to figure out significance of cow, but also hurry on leaving cow behind. #rpgs#ttrpg#cow
Party rushing to one of the character's home town as they believe it is in danger. Encounter an abandon town en route and see a cow. Speak with animals to figure out why town is abandon. Cow answers questions but also ask to be milked as it's been a few days...
Granted this is more a throw away one shot goofy character but... Circle of Spores Druid with the chef feat. Promoting the benefits of mushrooms on pizza while waging a war on the pineapple pizza people. #DnD#TTRPGs#concept#characterdesign#pizza#mushrooms#pineapple
-The other 4 teammates (another Barbarian, Druid, Sorcerer/Monk, and Wizard) did most of the damage, but this Barbarian got both killing blows. #DnD#TTRPGs#rpgs#DBZ
Just realized sort of created a DBZ moment in game I DM:
-Lvl 5 Barbarian who never rages unless against worthy opponent
-1st round combat, Hill Giant throws rock at Barbarian, DM rolls nat 20 and rolls near max damage on the un-raged barbarian going max hp to 0 so one shot them
-Teammate runs up and gives a healing potion (a la senzu bean)
-Druid cast call lightening on neaby Ettin near downed Barbarian
-Barb gets up, rages, swings halberd finishing off Ettin
-Next turn sprouts wings (gem dragonborn) and flies at Hill Giant's face finishing it off too
This eventually leads to party fighting cultist in three very unique ways. 1) Tortle fighter vs minotaur in standard fight, 2) Halfling warlock vs cult cleric in rpg char/story develop fight, and 3) Satyr bard vs goliath cleric in a tango that has everyone else going 🤨🫢🫣😳
Party trapped in tunnels. Stuck between metal door to cultist lair and horde of kobolds. Tortle has bright idea of grabbing his brother (also tortle) and running towards metal door, tucking into shell at last second to create a 1000lbs+ tortle cannonball barreling at the door...
...invisible halfling failed to get out of way in time and is caught up in tortle cannonball, which hits metal door with a noticeably loud gong and slight dent in door. Tortle brothers decide to repeat process sans halfling. Person on other side of door eventually opens up...
Tortle character has been afflicted with lycanthropy, but was able to make the mental saving throw to maintain control of self. So now currently looks like werewolf wearing tortle shell. Party's gauge to see if tortle is telling the truth that they are in control of themself...
...ask if they still like potato since major aspect of character is that they like potato in all form and fashion, even vodka is preferred alcoholic bev for character. It's gotten to the point that they carry around a 50 potato capacity large sack (currently at 39/50)...
Taking an approx 500 lbs Tortle to lay on top of a halfling to pin them down for the bard to perform an exorcism when the halfling isn't possessed and the bard doesn't actually know an exorcism spell and gradually suffocating the halfing under the weight #dnd#ttrpg#chaoscrew
Monday game group I play in sent our chaos crew members of our group to look for massive pile of explosive material. We didn't realize this until we were just about split the party. Other members went to go warn people. #DnD#splittheparty#RPG#ttrpg#chaoscrew#whathavewedone
