What an amazing day at the Rosemont Community Center where we partnered to host an afternoon of activities and share some food. We build better communities through these partnerships. Can't wait till the next one...stay tuned! @CPS_District3
Am I the only one who finds this troubling? 👇33% voted to not want to participate in training around Indigenous culture and history. One of the principles of reconciliation is to avail oneself to learning about the past, so as not to repeat it...2

Gotta ask: what kind of country do you want to live in? Of course bail should be made available and of course non-violent offenders should access bail... but the time has come to protect Canadians and police officers from the revolving door we now find ourselves in
Had the privilege to attend a memorial service today for retired S/Sgt Dennis Taylor. This was a man who impacted everyone he came to know - me included. I will miss him like he was my own family.
These are some of the unsung heroes in the Service, that no one ever meets. Not only do they keep our fleet on the road and safe, they are some of the nicest and unselfish people you'll ever meet. Thanks for highlighting their work, Chief...
…performance of hybrid police vehicles, and the increasing complexity of vehicles generally. This is an awesome team and, on behalf of all members, I thanked each one of them. I appreciate their dedication and commitment to #CPS and Calgarians. #gratitude#proudchief
You will not remember how much money you made throughout your career
You will remember every person that kindly opened a career door for you.
Opening doors for others is important and meaningful work.
Be a good sponsor and help others grow.
Be a door opener. Be remembered.
Earlier today I was proud to speak on behalf of our 28,000 members to the Standing Committee on Justice Policy to talk about changes that are needed in our bail system. The time for change is now!

Not much for sharing personal info on the Tweeter, but do have a Proud Son Moment to share. Attended a ceremony today to watch my mom receive the QE II Platinum Jubilee Medal. Mom was widowed at 44, went back to school in her 50's and into a new career thereafter - working ../2
We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Nelson Police Department Const. Mathieu Nolet, who succumbed to his injuries this morning, 12 days after an avalanche near Kaslo, B.C.
Const. Nolet served with CPS before transferring to the @nelsoncitypd.
Moderna is planning to charge $130 for its COVID vaccine, but the vaccine only costs $2.85 to make.
Meanwhile, over the last two years, the company made over $19 billion in profits off the vaccine.
Folks, this is what corporate greed looks like.
Well, for a group that often can't agree on the color of the sky... this is significant. Now if only someone would listen....hmmmmm. Canadians and our police officers demand safe communities. Bail reform is step 1...
