I just implemented animations for lateral movement. It's part of a series of visual improvements I'm making in order to create a new trailer for the game. The trailer, in turn, will be essential for another thing that I'm planning (I'll talk about that soon

Well, Twitter compresses the video so much that it's hard to see the details, so I don't know if you'll be able to notice the difference

In my last post, some people pointed out that players were looking too "oily", so I made some changes to fix that. Basically, I increased the bumpiness of the skin, making the highlights look less smooth and continuous. It's not perfect yet, but I think it's an improvement.

I redesigned the scene lighting, trying to make it more dramatic. Also made the players look wet, reflecting the environment light.
