Tonight is a historic night for Manitobans and every Canadian.
A huge congratulations to @WabKinew.
The first First Nations Premier elected in Canada. You've inspired generations of Indigenous youth to come.
With the Manitoba NDP, the future is looking brighter. 🧡
Can’t wait for @MarkWasyliw@lisa_naylor and @AdrienLouisSala to help form government. Their leadership will serve their communities and Manitobans as a whole. Easy picks for Wab’s first cabinet.
Just finished my 6th election campaign
These shoes helped knock on over 13,000 doors
Thank you Manitobans for sharing your stories with me & inviting me into your lives
It was truly an honour

Many years from now, a photo of this billboard will be displayed in the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in the exhibit about the history of racism in Canada.
@privatecitizenn@macintoshmaggie To what benefit? It won’t reduce costs, it won’t improve education in the classroom, it won’t improve community access to services or representation. Education is the leanest administratively in the entire public sector. So what would be the goal?
This morning, the Minister of Health asked me “how much I paid the nurses to resign.”
I was—still am—stunned. Not only does this show how completely she refuses to take accountability,it’s also wildly offensive.
I’m deeply concerned about her leadership. She must resign.#mbpoli
On this International Women’s Day I couldn’t think of a more incredible woman to celebrate. Congratulations Pauline on your retirement and thank you for your service to education in WSD, Manitoba, and across Canada.
no matter who wins the election tonight don't forget to eat 800mg of fruits/vegetables a day, put in at least an hour of exercise daily and get 7-8 hours of sleep a night. and call your mom once a week.
Our schools are working to address bullying in schools and classrooms. One of the ways the board can assist is to stand up to bullies in the community. I’m proud to not have Walter’s support.
New: Central Winnipeg trustees rejected an offer from a philanthropist — who has donated millions to local K-12 projects and has been meeting w/ board candidates running against incumbents — to pay for police officers in inner-city schools #mbed#wfp https://t.co/uYpcDED3Et
@acgerstein @Fading_Meesh@CamRegier @oneteachervoice @MoriartyLab @TWillardEdu @MBSchoolBoards @mbteachers @CovidSchool Trustees do not receive student absence reports. Getting accurate information would be extremely labour intensive. Our information systems are very dated. We struggled track this with Covid funding support.
@VoteTamaraKuly @nathanmwinnipeg @ArleneHReid Poverty is a black mark on our society. I need a provincial government willing to end poverty in their first term. That’s my wish list for education. 6/6
@VoteTamaraKuly @nathanmwinnipeg @ArleneHReid Government is far too focused on standardized testing. Education is process of feeding a curious mind. While milestones and curriculum need to be covered and learning needs to be assessed, standardized testing needs to go. 5/?
