I was sitting in the audience when Ivana @i_cirkovic casually mentioned during her talk that she's the best cook in the WordPress community.
Well...
Challenge accepted.
Also thank you for explaning the WP Credits Program #wceu@WCEurope
🎉 We're so glad to see everyone here for Contributor Day this year at WordCamp Europe 2026! Contributing to WordPress's growth, improvement, and sustainability is part of the spirit of open-source-- and we couldn't do it without you! #WCEU#WCEU26
So proud of my team @ThriveThemes - every one of them is committed to Thrive at @awesomemotive for the long haul.
Here are just a few of the things they're working on right now....
A migration from our existing licensing platform to @eddwp - to stabilize licensing for all our customers and give us more flexibility to serve them better going forward. Why? Our current third-party platform is... challenging... to put it politely.
For example, on BLACK FRIDAY morning, we came in and that company had introduced a bug the night before in their forced checkout template that wouldn't show the price. We had to wait half the day for them to fix it. Who ships changes to CHECKOUT on Black Friday?! Our customers deserve so much more, and so we're doing the hard work to make that happen so we're always in control of their experience.
That migration ALSO includes moving our email marketing service to a new one ;-) , and our affiliate management platform to @affwp - more stable and scalable solutions there, too. VERY excited about all we'll be able to do with our affiliates now with the super powerful AffWP behind us.
At the same time, we are streamlining and improving our server infrastructure to improve performance. When I first started with Thrive last March, it would take FOUR DAYS to complete a full build and QA of the entire Thrive package because of how slow/complex the server infra was. Now - it's one click deploy, AI driven and tested and super fast. And more infra improvements are coming soon, too. Hats off to @lanche86 and @wputasic for all the ways they've labored for simplicity in the process.
But that's just the stuff BEHIND the scenes.
We're also very close to releasing a redesign and redevelopment of Thrive Leads - our lead generation plugin for WordPress. We've streamlined the process of creating campaigns, added great new features like scheduling. We improved split testing, analytics and conversion tracking and more. Email marketing is more important now than EVER before - and we are going to ensure Leads continues to be one of the simplest most effective popup plugins for WordPress.
Plus - that shiny new, modern UI will be rolled out to our other products over the coming year, too. @saiftheboss7 our Product Manager and Rijul, our designer, are taking GREAT advantage of Google Stitch - and now Claude Design. It's super energizing to see them pushing to adopt and adapt these great new tools so quickly.
We're continuing to build into our plugins the Automations that were previously outsourced to our own Automator plugin - so creators don't have to rely on glueware to accomplish the most essential jobs for each of our nine plugins. We are still going to retire Automator eventually, but not until we're confident we've covered everything that should be core to the native plugins themselves.
In the process of doing that - we're also building in the hooks, actions, filters and APIs other plugins will need to extend the Thrive ecosystem for years to come. We believe OSS is poised to continue to win in the age of AI and want to make sure Thrive's products are at the forefront in WordPress, especially given how complete the Thrive Suite is for marketers who need a full stack solution.
Over the past several months, we've standardized every one of our ESP/CRM integrations and so they all support custom fields, lists, tags, segments, etc... and every form type supports webhooks natively now (whether in Architect, Theme Builder or Leads). Now you can send whatever info you want, whereever you want it to go.
AND speaking of APIs...Architect just got a fancy new API that lets you spin up new pages directly via the LLM of your choice. *Can't wait to show you more of that soon.*
The first of our generative features - AI Generated Courses - is in QA - built to help creators who have expertise in an area but are stuck staring at a blank wall to get started faster. And to lay the ground work for adaptive learning in the future...
I could go on and on... but I'll stop there.
We've gone from shipping one release every six weeks (maybe) to a complete release every two weeks, sometimes faster, and we're only getting better and faster as we go.
@thrivethemes at @awesomemotive isn't going anywhere but UP, and this is the team who is going to take us there.
