@wpwhdo
Working to ensure that women and girls are empowered, their rights respected, enabling them participate fully in the decision making processes at all levels.
@SwedeninLiberia@UNPeacebuilding Same as West Point Women for Health and Development Organization WPWHDO. This is good for Liberia as most women in Liberia were deprived literarily and had no means of sitting as women to resolve their own disputes and conflicts. Thanks to the Swedish people who supported WPWHDO.
@SweAmbLiberia Thanks so much Ambassador for your tireless efforts to help Liberia realize it potentials, especially Women's Empowerment in the achievement of the millennium development goals, encouraging the implementation of 1325 agenda. We at the West Point Women highly appreciate you πβ€οΈ.
@GPFA_USA@GboweePeace Beautiful, congratulations baby for the double promotion. Thanks also so much to Gbowee Foundation for affording our children education and other livelihoods opportunities.
@SwedeninLiberia Oh, they're so adorable with their gifted flowers showing how much they've achieved doing the embassy's work for 20 unbroken year. Thanks so much Charles and Prutus for your commitment to serve. Thanks also to the Embassy of Sweden for acknowledging these gentlemen works.
@Kate_Thomson_UK Thanks so much to the British Government for the support to our democracy in Liberia. History told us that, it was Britain who first recognized Liberia's independence and you are doing it again. THANKS!!!!
@b_mawolo This is not about comparing or finding out if a woman have done more than a man vice-visa, what is more sensible here is the reality of gender balance in our world today. Wether you believe it or not, we have a responsibility to let it happen.
WPWHDO along with all stakeholders of the Amplifying Rights Network and other international partners was able to successfully conduct the first ever Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights SRHR Conference here in Monrovia at the Liberia Ministerial Complex from May 26-28, 2023.
Rural communities are not only vulnerable to diseases, they are prone to disaster risks. In Sass Town, Grand Kru, a community supported by our partner the Liberian Red Cross have started taking action to avoid risks by fencing an open well #storiesofchangeliberia@rodakorset
@SwedeninLiberia Political parties need to realize that women play an important role in society, which makes it essential for us women to be represented within the political arena.
@unwomenliberia@ComfortLUNWomen@MOGCSP_Liberia@GlobalFundWomen@UN_Liberia WPWHDO is so thankful that we were visited by the WOMEN arm of the UN who saw some of the work West Point Women for Health and Development Organization is doing in various communities of Montserrado, empowering women and girls to realize their potentials.
