We're redesigning the School Experience Survey (SES) and we need your help. Tell us what matters most so we can build a better School Experience Survey for school year 2026-27 and beyond. Your feedback will help shape the new "SES 2.0" to make it the best it can be! @LASchools
It was a true honor to discuss trends in LAUSD student achievement with @LAUSDSup and the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council. Our students are showing remarkable progress and it’s great to see so much interest in digging into the data.
One of my favorite moments each month is engaging in learning and dialogue with my Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council 👩🏽🏫👨🏻🎓.
This month, our council members wanted to dive into overall performance trends in student achievement 📊.
My core message to them: our humanity drives us, even as data informs us. Data becomes most meaningful when we look at the context behind the numbers — the stories, challenges, and strengths of our students and schools 🌎📚.

Happy to be the bearer of good news with the LAUSD Board today, as we discuss achievement in math and ELA for @LASchools students, who are outpacing their peers statewide.
