@droplister Agreed, we are simply travelling along the Gartner hype cycle and the key pre-condition on those historical assets moving past the deep trough is the foundations they are built on surviving and growing in productivity.
If that occurs, the assets just grow in significance.

Just giving a periodic reminder of my assessment re future market activity:

Every new cycle narrows in on a small number of narratives which drive value. Eg ICOs, DeFi, NFTs, Memecoins… Those early to the narratives do well.
At some point (I don’t know when, but AI now accelerates the timeframes…), a key narrative will be ‘true ownership’ in gaming which will proliferate in mainstream gaming & also bring in the new entrants to the crypto ecosystem (the missing piece in the current cycle).

This will not be ‘gamers coming to web3 games’, this will be major gaming companies subtly introducing web3 tech to their millions of existing gamers - because it is a superior & safer experience in a digital age (and a tipping point will come making trad gaming look like dinosaurs).

When that happens, long-standing gaming projects continuing to deliver will moon and other historically significant NFT projects will have a major renaissance (eg. RarePepes, Cryptopunks, ArtBlocks & even Apes - as much as it pains me - and various early artists).

Importantly, the little known project @SpellsofGenesis - the very first pioneer of web3 gaming with the very earliest assets dating back to 2015 - will have an avalanche of new interest, awareness and demand.

The macro experience will be true substance that leads to another bubble, and ultimately retreating to some remaining substance on the other side.

(My tip that I hope serves u well: there are a handful of well known gaming projects with promise… Amongst these, I suggest you DYOR on @enjin which has an ecosystem ready for mainstream adoption).
