Job hunt update: It's brutal out there.

Being laid off right before the holidays is rough. Responses and job postings slow to a drip. Now it's starting to pick back up right as our severance parachute dries up.

PSA for RIOT friends that got laid off: In California you can collect unemployment while you're on severance! Severance benefits are not considered wages, so you can actually make $2k a month more than you were for the next 6 months. RT to save a homie
