I remember the task on my jira board, onboard corporate coffee machine to snmp monitoring...

These days coffee machines are quite complex and data driven.

Spent hours troubleshooting a bug, only to realize that the real bug was actually the outdated coffee machine. Sometimes, deep debugging starts with caffeine. No amount of console.log can fix that! #caffeinatedcoding

@terrajobst @FransBouma @praeclarum I like that in newer programming environments. The vm updates brings new features and you run your old code until it bites you.

Upgrades become much less hassle..

@nilostolte Every migration has ups and downs. Go to mac: good unix support, but window manager is a bit worse especially with mutliple screens.

@rakyll I believe config and code changes have different constraints.

Code can be more arbitrary, but is easier to test. Code changes may be harder to roll back (e.g. schema changes).

But their impact can totally be the same.

I get the impression the EU lacks feasibility of their plans and great execution behind it.

We're not doing what's needed to make impact, but telling people how to do it right ..
