Web peeps - IONOS vs GoDaddy for hosting, domains, and multiple inboxes?
Had IONOS for years now, but had to buy a parked domain through GoDaddy recently.
Wondering if it’s a superior service? Or whether I should just transfer the domain to our IONOS account?

M4 Max 16/40 core/128GB
vs
M3 Ultra 28/60 core/96GB
What we saying?
Looking for a machine that’d make working in Blender reasonably painless.
Already have an RTX 4090 to render on, so this is purely about viewport performance.

Anyone out there used any of the Edelkrone Jibs?
Super intrigued, but there’s shockingly little info out there about them. And real world reviews seem… mixed.

@BlazarLens Are these rainbow flares a deliberate “feature” of the Remus B set?
I’m all for “character”, but these rainbow rings are just awful.
Frame grabs attached, with a Helios 28mm organic rainbow flare for comparison.
So far, this Remus B set is literally unusable.
@stalman Great thread Tyler. Totally agree on all points.
I’ve always wondered why FCP doesn’t just convert the “Camera LUT” to a Custom LUT effect in the effects panel. That’d solve everything, and we could still process clips in the browser that way.
@JKpayroll@ionos_help_uk We've got exactly the same issue here. Can't even log into our web dashboard. And no response over web chat or phone. Shocking.
@JoeLawry Yeah, this is the next step. We need all raw codecs to be universally supported across all software packages.
The irony is that REDCODE would be the perfect universal raw codec if it was licensed out to third parties like ProRes is. Maybe @NikonUSA can make this happen. 🤞👀
ProRes Raw internal?!
Is this the beginning of the end of RED's stranglehold on internal compressed raw?
And if so, is this all thanks to Nikon?
This almost seems too good to be true. Like, have Nikon just allowed this? Licensed it? Not seen it yet? 😅

@JoeLawry No idea. Could well be. Or maybe Nikon have just made life easier for everyone in the industry?
I just hope this is the first of many cameras announcing internal raw this year 🤞
@PaulAndrewYoung Is this the OneMo 2? How are you getting with it? I’ve been looking for a reasonably compact every day backpack for a while now, for the drone and camera. The OneMo Lite pops up quite a bit and looks decent.
How likely is it that we get some kind of roadmap from Nikon and/or RED at NAB?
Will this affect REDCODE, and the state of compressed raw video codecs?
Will we see some of Nikon’s tech could start crossing over into RED’s next line of cameras?
Could be an interesting time.
@DJISupport@DJIGlobal I absolutely will do. Honestly the most fun I’ve ever had with a drone. The 3 camera systems have blown me away. Lots more tests in the mix.
Absolutely blown away by the Mavic 3 Pro Cine.
That zoom range is just nuts for a drone that fits in your backpack.
Took these shots at 6:30pm last night. Really impressed with the low light performance on all 3 cameras.
Kudos to @DJIGlobal for creating (imho) the perfect drone.
@JoeLawry@DJIGlobal Yeah, this genuinely feels next level.
I had the M2P a few years back, and whilst it was deemed ok at the time, the IQ just never quite held up imho.
Sold it last year and picked up a Mini 4 Pro, which has been loads of fun tbf.
But this new Mavic has properly blown me away.
Twitter drone peeps - Is the M3P Cine worth it over the standard M3P?
Looks like the Cine has ProRes, and also an internal 1TB SSD.
But it also looks like the standard Pro only captures 4:2:0(?) which could make 4:2:2 appealing on the Cine.
Any real world experiences welcomed 🙌
