@WhiteMarci65135 What a fantastic throwback post, @WhiteMarci65135! I would love to hear what's been going on for you since! Also, I'm co-authoring a book on disadvantage in schools. Would you be up for talking more and potentially contributing a case study? If so, message me your email!

With a generous grant from @towerpoetry, @EngMediaCentre is launching a project to 'map' poetry in secondary schools in England. We're starting with a national survey. If you teach English, please fill in the questionnaire so we get your views & insights. https://t.co/nXuVZUEKr5
Great opportunity for a SBP to move into an office-based Finance and Operations Lead role @LEADTSHub in Lincoln - @ShirleySiAhmed, @SBoaden, @dorsetsbl and @WomenedEM are you happy to share with your networks? Thank you in advance!
Anon post:
I’m interested in exploring alternative leadership structures.
Has anyone moved away from the traditional HT–DHT–AHT model?
I’d love to hear what senior leadership models you’re using and how they’re working in practice.
@DeputyGrocott Schools are in such a tricky situation with this though. A huge amount of pressure and scrutiny involved and all stakeholders have varying perceptions of what feeling ill means. I'd argue it's not clear cut (excepting vomiting etc!)

Desperate parent alert! Our 4yo left his beloved teddy Moley (Florence the Mole from Any Creatures Wildlife) at Premier Inn Doncaster Lakeside on May 31. Likely scooped up with laundry 🧺💔 Discontinued + irreplaceable. Please RT + help us bring him home! 🙏#bringmoleyhome
I completely agree with @ICT_MrP here - as a parent and as an educator. A heart to heart over a glass of squash would have been great, but to suggest that "real love" is rooted in giggling at your child's poor behaviour when you've picked them up from school is something else!
I’ve had so many messages from teachers over the weekend about this TV advert from Robinsons and I’d love to know your thoughts? Are we as teachers right to be annoyed at how it completely undermines us when so many schools are really struggling with behaviour?
Morning #teacher5oclockclub –
@leaningshane raises important questions about NPQs and what leaders really need.
One challenge, I think, is how separating design from delivery limits responsiveness in the moment to leaders' current priorities.

Will I ever lose the butterflies when waiting for everyone to turn up to a big online CPD session!?
'Have they got the link?'
'Am I still connected?'
'What if no one comes despite signing up?'
😂
Morning #teacher5oclockclub – important article on @SchoolsWeek today. The Y7 dip in engagement isn’t new - but that doesn’t mean we can ignore it.
We need to talk about transition, confidence, and belonging. How do you proactively support?
