I don’t know why everyone in the media is shocked at some of the goings on down in Washington. Maybe they’re shocked at the extent of it all. I am, too. But I’m not shocked at the goings-on. I’m shocked at the reactions to the goings-on. What’s most shocking is the complacency that is on display in Senate and Congressional leadership, if it can be called that.
