@NOTOGIN1 I would love to participate but 7,000 miles is a lot of ground to cover to get there. ๐
Your Noto bottles are exceptionally well designed.
@SATSUKI_tBC@honnori_tsubaki I agree that the translations are remarkably solid.
It has been great for me to be able to hear directly from people there about everyday life in Noto and the ongoing progress of reconstruction.
The translations connect us in amazing ways.
@JustJillTeacher Good morning, Jill, from South Carolina! This is the view now, sipping coffee on the front porch before the day unfolds.
My mad respect and deep appreciation for my Sooner friends and their awesome teams is as strong as ever. How about that amazing โพ win over ๐?!!
@SATSUKI_tBC@Featherprop Kanazawa is my favorite city in Japan. The National Crafts Museum, Kenroku-en garden, and so many other cool things. All with a chill, relaxing vibe.
Maybe if I like a few more of your replies the algorithm will reward me by returning your awesome daily Wyoming photos to my feed.
I cannot stand the way the algorithm forgets what I actually like, and doesn't give me any simple way to get back to seeing people I follow. (The "Following" tab must use the same algorithm; it never shows obscure posts by people I followed long ago, which is what I want. Thus, that tab does me no good.)
@nikitabier any thoughts?
Ochoko (ใใกใใ) are little drinking cups for sake. They come in many sizes and materials. Some are specific to the location in which they were made. Some from gift shops, some from antique stores. My guests choose the one they like for sipping sake at my home!
@kunoichi_jp_ The wonderful difference in Japan is that high trust seems nearly universal. It doesn't matter whether you are in urban Tokyo or remote Noto, examples of high trust abound. We Americans do treasure that.
@countyhwy I cannot recommend this publication highly enough. If you want to relax, be intrigued, mentally wander, and read about fascinating topics you never thought about, an issue of County Highway every two months is just the thing.
