Aadhaar based EKYC has become almost impossible for people with visual disability now because of the eye-blink facial recognition. Blinking eyes doesn’t work at all. Is this what you call inclusivity? @UIDAI @Aadhaar_Care @UIDAIDelhi @PMOIndia

@cash_reader is just such an amazing app for the blind. And the detection is so fast and accurate! Hoping they'll also include a feature to even add the money identified.

The good thing is @WhatsApp has already implemented this feature. Waiting for other app developers to make use of this feature.

@facebook and @instagram should finally utilise Google TalkBack's "Actions Menu" to make their apps workflow more efficient for screen reader users on Android, just as it is on ios. Would wait for an accessibility update.

Threads from @instagram really need to work on making the app work better with Google TalkBack, particularly with Talkback's Explore By Touch feature. Accessibility is better on ios though, except for the 'Post' button being inaccessible with VoiceOver. 😂

It appears that Jio provides an option for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) customers to obtain a SIM card under their name by uploading a Disability Certificate, given that the eye-blink verification process may not be feasible for individuals with visual impairments.
