Viola Fletcher, the last living witness of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, has passed away at 111. Her legacy of strength and survival will never be forgotten. ๐๏ธ๐๐พ
D'Angelo wasn't a soul of many words, because he seemed to believe his music would speak best for him. And it will. Forever for a multitude of generations and to comfort anyone who misses his soothing tone or decadent energy.
This moment is how I choose to remember him. Joyfully and excitedly playing his guitar and you can see in his face, that it was where he was most at home.
