My initial assessment is that the attack could potentially be linked to Ashab al-Yamin, an Iran-linked group that has carried out multiple attacks against Jewish institutions across Europe since the war began. I will continue to monitor for any claims of responsibility that may emerge.

Hopefully this is something different but the possibility that the group is involved should be examined.

BREAKING: Terrified by the successful hypersonic and cluster munition-equipped ballistic missile strikes carried out by the IRGC Aerospace Force against various cities in Israel, the Israeli Air Force has been authorized to expand its strikes in Tehran. On the orders of Netanyahu and Israeli leadership, the IDF is now placing less emphasis on avoiding civilian areas during airstrikes in neighborhoods of the Iranian capital tonight.

In Tehran, a first wave of strikes was reported around 03:05 to 03:15, with explosions heard in western, southwestern, eastern, and northern parts of the city, including Ekbatan, Punak, Yousefabad, Levizan, Sohanak, Kamranieh, Niavaran, Ajudaniyeh, and the area around Parchin and Imam Hossein University.
