The worst part about being known as a “strong” or “highly capable” or “independent” Black woman is that you’re rarely treated or approached with the same kind of gentleness or compassion as everyone else.
“Your shorts don’t go past your fingertips so you have to change.”
“I can see your bra strap if you lean while wearing that shirt you have to change.”
I dunno man I feel like y’all are enforcing what girls can wear every day, this isn’t rocket science.
