@nursescribb Okayy. Would you advise one to relocate to an area with higher earning potential with the purpose of maximizing profit? Or stay where you are and figure it out? Cuz ngl location does play a very important role in one's career
You are missing the point here.
We are not fighting for unification because CON or SON are producing incompetent nurses. That is not the issue.
We are fighting for UNIFICATION because nurses deserve equal value and equal pay.
We are fighting for UNIFICATION because we are tired of other professions seeing one group of nurses as lesser than the other.
We are fighting for UNIFICATION because many nurses go for interviews, state their salary expectations, and are told, “SON graduates will accept less,” or SON nurses are made to feel they are not worthy of earning certain salaries.
This is the reality many nurses in this country face every day.
So if you think this conversation is about comparison, then you really do not understand the struggles many nurses are dealing with, and that is okay.
This is not about BNSC advocacy alone. This is about advocating for what benefits all nurses, not just a select group of people.
This fight is for the good of everyone.
big thanks to everyone who joined really appreciate. We also had lots of people who requested but we couldn’t see those requests. Before the next space it would be fixed. And to the speakers thank you so so so much.
