So I finally (reluctantly) sat through (endured) Adenuf - the Way of Water today and it did not disappoint. It was every bit as dull and spurious as I expected it to be. Where are all the good films this year ? ( apart from Banshees - obvs)

@ChrisRandWrites Having seen ( or should that be suffered) Babylonandonandon I can assure you made the right choice! We’re Whaling tomorrow. Missed Enys Men cos I was poorly yesterday. Boo.
@ChrisRandWrites I would have to agree. Pleasant enough but I wanted more of Spielberg the budding filmmaker and less tangential family drama. Always a problem when there’s a big build up. Hard not to disappoint. Piggy on the other hand was an unexpected treat.
Late to the party, but just watched #menmovie. Deliciously bonkers for a Mother! fan like me. Loved every deranged minute of it. Have you seen it @ChrisRandWrites? If so what think you?
Absolutely delighted for #EverythingEverywhereAllAtOnce@TheOscars2023 Just shows you can still be original and creative in a world of safe franchises and sequels. Blew me away first time I saw it. Off to see it again tonight with added footage.
So #BabylonMovie wow! But not in a good way. First half hour felt like a thrilling fairground ride, but who wants to be on a ride for over three hours? Exhausting. Do we really need another Hollywood golden era film? No. Not if it’s this one.
