in my head: i know every single detail about my work in progress: pitch, plot, characters, i can remember EVERYTHING.
random: “hey what’s your wip about?”
me: “…haha that’s a really good question, i don’t really know, it’s hard to describe.”

once i finally finish my wip, become a best-selling author, sign my books at book con, and live in my castle in the middle of nowhere.. it’s over for y’all.

i’m not a planster, i’m not a plotter. what am i?! i’m the one who makes an outline, doesn’t follow the outline, ends up making a bunch of plot holes, creates 6 new characters, kills half of them, gives up, goes on instagram and doesn’t revisit the document for a month :)

there will be writers that will be like “writing is so much fun!” and then not write for several months. we exist.
