@maxprat I disagree. It’s really not about stopping/reversing ai. the issue is much bigger, about us being consumed by device that discourages critical thinking. This is the exact time to talk about art. Let a device be a device, we don’t call a pencil a great artist just coz it can draw

its not just about art/artists anymore, more about overconsumption of devices to distract us from reality

it is decidedly not art, for the simple reason that art is far less about the image on the surface and far more about the artist & consumer’s feelings. art necessitates human suffering. ai is plain skill, and plain skill—even in human hands—without feeling means nothing.
