๊ฐ์ฌํด์ #BTSJungkook Fortified by your post I will gracefully relinquish my death grip on my 377 day streak & 14 top 3 finishes(diamond league) on that famous language learning app (Offer expired) Where did I put those Korean books?
*I now wish to be known as #FallingBlossom
The kitchen garden's woken up! ๐Amazing what a bit of sunshine can do. Peas are sprouting, onions onioning, potatoes on point of flowering, strawberries bursting out all over the place. Bit of a mystery what's in the top half of bed 4. Can't remember what I planted there. ๐ค
Rhiannon, Celtic Goddess of birds and Queen of Faerie, is smiling on us this spring. ๐ฅน JennyWren has returned home to nest in her box and has new neighbours - bluetits in the silver birch and a robin in the woodshed. Obviously an up and coming area.

@twirlkoo I read a book called THE ISLAND OF SEA WOMEN (Lisa See), which introduced me to the Korean idiom ์น ์ ํ๊ธฐ (Chiljeonpalgi). This led me to learn about Hangul and the amazing King Sejong. Sejong also deeply loved traditional music which led me to Daechwita, and here I am. ๐โบ๏ธ
Glorious sunny morning in my tiny corner of the English Shires. Driving roof down, vol 11 for the first time this year.
Let me just say, my world was not ready for #AgustD ๐

@jk_kingkook What a gem of a post - Thank You! It prompted me to watch the Yoon Jong-shin original on YouTube. Such a beautiful song. I feel blessed to have found this wealth of new (to me) virtuosity. Jung-kook and the rest of the boys are truly your national treasures. How lucky you are!
#BTSARMY In the spirit of New Year good will (and in the interests of coronary units worldwide) I feel the need to point out that BST Hyde Park is an annual summer music festival in London and not the return of the Chosen Ones.

Solstice blessings on all your houses!
To all my friends, old and new - I apologise for my rubbish communication skills this year. I know it's been a while, but I have some brand new #sorchalines for the new year. Any takers?
I know it seems like I've fallen down a ํ๊ตญ์ธ rabbit hole lately, but actually I'm down a Valkyrie one. I'm writing a short story for a competition trying to break out of this ๐คฌ brainfog! Not altogether sure how much patience a sociopathic medieval assassin has tho.๐ฌ @Lupescar
Today I learned how to 'cast' my laptop to the bigarse tv. The involuntary squeak followed by the deep sigh of resignation No3 son emitted when I asked him to show me will live with me forever. ๐
Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us.
On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there-on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.
The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena.
Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds.
Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot.
Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the Universe, are challenged by this point of pale light.
Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark.
In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves.
The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life.
There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment the Earth is where we make our stand.
It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience.
There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world.
To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known.

OK, BTS. I get the message (and appreciate the passion), but time to set the algorithms right.
