4. Heart Gym: Empathy training for your soul.
5. The 1 AM Lie: "Just one more chapter."
6. Stress Relief: Science says it lowers your heart rate (unless it’s a thriller).
7. Decor: Books make you look 40% more mysterious.
8. Validation: Realizing you aren't the only one with your quirks.
9. No Judgment: Books don't care if you're in mismatched PJs.
10. The Ending: Justice is served and loose ends are tied in a bow.

I hate GenAi.

I hate that it exists.
I hate that it makes everything seem fake in a world already rife with frauds and scammers.

It disconnects us further from each other and the human gift of art, for no discernible reward I can fathom.

It feeds all our worst qualities: laziness, historical and literary degeneracy, dishonesty and covetousness. It turns people into thieves that argue back in total absurdity: “I should have the right to steal and lie.”

It is poison delivered by keystroke.

I hate the way writers have to be influencers now. It’s the single worst thing that has happened to books. Good writers have to waste valuable time making content when they should be writing, bad writers get book deals because they have a lot of followers
