IAF releases the names of the 2 pilots killed in yesterday’s Jaguar crash. Deepest condolences to their families, unit & the Air Force.

An IAF Jaguar Trainer aircraft met with an accident during a routine training mission and crashed near Churu in Rajasthan, today. Both pilots sustained fatal injuries in the accident. No damage to any civil property has been reported.

IAF deeply regrets the loss of lives and stands firmly with the bereaved families in this time of grief.

A court of inquiry has been constituted, to ascertain the cause of the accident.

Visited Bellatrix Aerospace #BellatrixAero at their test facility in IISc,
#iiscbangalore today. They showcased a successful vacuum firing of their ARKA-100, a 100 W electric thruster and a 1N green propellant thruster RUDRA based on HAN.
Both systems are fully developed in-house — including heater-less cathode, magnetic-lensed anode, high-efficiency PPCU, control electronics and all pneumatic control components.
Supported by #ISRO and #INSPACeIND, Bellatrix is building critical propulsion tech that could empower Indian smallsat makers to rely on indigenous systems instead of sourcing from abroad. A significant step for our space ecosystem.

The Indian Navy Chiefs' Conclave was conducted at Naval Headquarters, New Delhi on 08 Feb.

The Chiefs’ Conclave 2025 aims to gain from the collective experience and knowledge of the eight former Naval Chiefs who are attending the Conclave.

On 08 Feb, former Chiefs were presented with an operational update, including policy initiatives, technological, materiel, and operational logistics advancements, and perspective plans at the new Nausena Bhawan.

An exclusive session was also conducted to deliberate Manthan on key issues of interest, fostering an open exchange of ideas on the future of warfare and maritime strategy in an evolving geo-political landscape and HR paradigms.

A Book titled “Legacy of Leadership: Naval Chiefs through Time” was released on the sidelines of the Conclave; chronicling the inspiring journeys of former CNSs.

With personal stories, rare photographs & firsthand accounts, this “collector's edition” offers a unique glimpse into the leadership of the former CNSs.
