My 7yo called me up to her room last night and told me she was scared of dying, at which point I noticed she was sleeping with a skull (a plastic Halloween decoration, not a real one)! Apparently she's had it in her bed for two weeks...
Watching the Pete Doherty interview and reminiscing about my Libertines fan girl days. Looked up this line up from Leeds 2004 when I cracked my ribs on the barriers at the front of the crowd after the surge when the band came on. What a weekend!
Nice to be quoted alongside the brilliant @TanyaKirk on the opening of the @britishlibrary#Fantasy exhibition - and a shoutout to my @UofGFantasy co-Director @MJRSangster who co-curated the exhibition with Tanya and others!

So much fun at the opening of the @britishlibrary exhibition, Fantasy: Realms of Imagination. Personal highlights include the original Piranesi manuscript, the only extant copy of Gawain & the Green Knight, and Richard Dadd's The Fairy Feller's Master Stroke

Back in my teenage years, when I lusted after Russell Crowe and watched Gladiator every day on VHS, never could I have imagined him playing a jolly old Italian priest riding around on a tiny little scooter
I was there somewhere in that sea of naked bums in 2010. I think we had to be at the Opera House at about 4am, which was pretty brutal.
