I love true crime docs. Not anything on Discovery Networks or 20/20 or any of that total crap. I mean real ones.
Anyway, at least 90% of the investigations were either fucked up by the police & justice system through incompetence, corruption, or both. Usually both.

They battle the beast, but still no alarms or security. One sister is wounded the other calls her dad. And only then does security show up. I can't even get to my office without scans & I work in a university.

My main issue with Resident Evil, the cause of the outbreak is totally absurd. You have a secret bio lab run by a corp like 3M. 2 teenage girls breaking using a recording of dad's voice. No security, no alarms & somehow they released a biohorror dog. Still no alarms. 1/2

Now watching Blood Simple, 1984, the first Cohen Brothers movie. It's a crime drama in which a lot goes wrong for the characters. It's brilliant. 9��
