Thinking about maybe being active again from time to time but I might make a few changes, mainly shift towards more sfw stuff

[Richter Langley @writingrichter]

Does the necromancer learn to use it at great risk to himself and start a possible path to lichdom

Or do I take it, currently the only person capable of actually using it at the risk of fully becoming a fully fledged vampire lord and potentially the most dangerous

[Richter Langley @writingrichter]

So a potentially game warping moment happened tonight in DND.

Paladin finds a locked chest, and detects a fiendish presence inside.
After some debate we decided to open it, I pick the lock and unleash a spirit Naga.

We talk to this clearly very angry and spiteful snake +

[Richter Langley @writingrichter]

And it decides to offer us something to let it go .

So uhhh

Our party has a talisman of ultimate evil in our possession...

And we have no idea how to legitimately deal with this,
Does the paladin, the most righteous of the table take it at the risk of his downfall+

Accounts, do a complete reset, maybe get some new art commissioned or change characters completely.
Though there's maybe only a couple of people around who would really be interested.

Oh well, just an old man rambling into the nothing.

Thanks for reading,
San

I haven't been here in a hot minute..

I miss goofing around online but I'm not sure I mentally have the time and energy to do it anymore. A lot has happened over the last couple of years, notably I mentioned a little while ago that I was in a car accident back in June.

Being in excruciating pain. Only leaving home for my physiotherapy session. I've been back to work since late August but I still have bad days.
I'm just tired of the pain and needed somewhere to vent, sorry.
Maybe I'll come back some day. Though I'd probably overhaul my+

[Richter Langley @writingrichter]

@stormsandseas 👓Yeah I decided to take an extended break for my own mental health.

I was doing somewhat ok but this has really done a number on me.

[Richter Langley @writingrichter]

👓 great, we just got a new car 4 days ago after the last one died on us and some stupid cunt just rear ended us on a give way junction because he was going too fast.

Immediate back pain and absolutely seething

[Richter Langley @writingrichter]

Next because this last arc and that session has given me ideas to push myself as a DM.

It also makes me want to bring back my boy Dietrich here but ehhhhhh I'm not sure if I have the energy to write again

[Richter Langley @writingrichter]

👓 you ever have one of those dnd sessions that just,

Leaves you speechless still days later?
We had that the other day, multiple story threads culminating into a legitimate perfect session .
Everyone got to gain some form of major information relevant to themselves+

[Richter Langley @writingrichter]

And their stories, as well as something to reflect that. There were major revelations that built off of that information that we each individually gained. And it all led to such an unbelievably good set of reveals that I'm still reeling , it really makes me wish I was dming +

Christmas one shot, me playing barbarian
DM: suddenly ghost
Me: I'll reckless
DM: it's incorpo-
Me: nat 20 *draws a crit card*
Quadruple damage
DM: you did 104 damage and insta killed it.. how??
Me: I grabbed it by the sheets and ripped it in half, even souls will feel my fury

[Gachaloha @GachalohaSHIRTS]

100 retweets and I will make an arona hotdog themed shirt (and actually try)

[Richter Langley @writingrichter]

@Faceless_Green It's not my fault their favourite NPC in my last campaign turned out to be the main villain, the most ironic part being that he was never meant to be particularly likable in the first place but a couple of my players liked him enough for the reveal to really sting

[Richter Langley @writingrichter]

My players in DND: there's something up with this delivery boy he knows more than he's letting on, is he the villain?
Me: no, you just have trust issues from my last campaign
Also me: he is a military spy keeping watch on notable individuals across the continent.

[Richter Langley @writingrichter]

Went to a con today, The car nearly exploded on the way home but at least I got tingyun

[Richter Langley @writingrichter]

@HenriAfterDark Yup, and I have no idea how I got the same one 5 times
