I keep seeing this quote and I get the point. But it doesn't entirely work because marriage isn't waiting for "the one" either. It's getting on the bus. There are many busses going your way. Voting & marriage are both public transport! I feel like
@fakedansavage
would agree??
I think the real controversy no one is talking about is the fact that this song is terrible and yet Cardi B is just rolling in the 💵 💵 💵
I'm both disgusted by America's collective stupidity and completely impressed by Cardi's knack for hacking the system.
One more thought I've been mulling over: has this coronavirus made anyone else realize how vulnerable we are as a species? How much we're a parasite on this planet? How much we consume? And abuse? Like maybe this virus is here to put us in check. And we're not even taking note.
9. Long walks near the beach (turns out, this is a real thing)
10. Gardening !?! (surprising to even me)
11. The Libby app
12. Running slowly but for longer

14. Death Wish Coffee
I'm sure there are more but that's good for now. Tell me yours.
I've been away from this thing for a long time. I'm going to share some random new-to-me things I've been enjoying over the past few months:
1. Campari
2. Kiwi (especially that Sungold kind with the smooth skin, amazing!)
3. Killing Eve
4. My Favorite Murder
5. Little Fires Everywhere (the book, then the show)
6. Yoga with Kassandra
7. Going braless on the regular (when you feel like the world might end, who needs a bra?)
8. Jeopardy (a pleasant rediscovery even if it's just reruns now)
I've been thinking about habits and patterns. I have lots of daily good habits, but I find I'm falling into old familiar not so good patterns of thinking or feeling. Maybe we're all bound to repeat these things forever because that's just who we are. You can't escape yourself.
Anyone else feel like they're falling into this social distancing thing too well? And the idea of socializing in person again is becoming less and less appealing? It's like that self indulgent feeling of giving in to depression.
I just dropped my most favorite coffee mug on the floor and it's very broken and I'm not handling this well amidst general pandemic angst. @thebrianrjones, @marcmaron when oh when will there be more @WTFpod mugs? 😭😭😭 No other mug is the same.
