He had the chance most people pray for.

At 23, he got into a small tech company. Nothing big yet, but the people around him were hungry, disciplined, building something real.

The problem?

He wasn’t.

He showed up late.
Scrolled more than he worked.

Always said, “I’ll take it serious next month.”

Next month became next year.

While others stayed late learning, he left early.
While others improved, he stayed comfortable.

Eventually, he quit.

Said the job was “too stressful.”
Said he needed to “find himself.”

Years passed.

That small company?

It blew up.

The people he started with?
Now successful, disciplined, financially free.

And him?

Still starting over.
Still saying “this time I’ll be serious.”

The painful part isn’t failure.

It’s knowing you had the opportunity…
and wasted it.

Lesson:
Regret hits harder than hard work ever will.
