I never expected to be laid off while on paternity leave. Instead of returning to work, I was let go. My ❤️ is heavy as I try to focus on being present with my wife and baby boy.
Who's looking for a frontend-dev (JavaScript/TS/React)?

@jeoay Hey Joey thanks for the support, I'm trying to DM you but I don't see an option to do so, not sure whats going on with that...can you try to msg me instead?
1. I started my self-taught journey over a year and a half ago, and after 400+ rejected applications and 30+ failed interviews, constantly adjusting and improving, I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as a fulltime Software Engineer at Skip-Line, LLC!
2. I've officially started a new chapter in my life, and I couldn't be happier :)
Also, shout out to my mentor and friend @coleturner whose been there with me from the very start, I honestly wouldn't have made it this far without him.
Trying to find a job is itself a whole job. Everyday I get up I have events marked out in my calendar, meetings, video calls, reading documentation, building projects, networking, etc. It honestly makes me wonder if actually landing a job and working will be this exhausting.
