“The Love that moves the sun and the other stars” still impels us to hope. Love moves us, urges us onward, awakens us from lethargy, inspires new vocations, and calls us to take risks. In love, there is never coercion or indoctrination; never seduction, deception, or recruitment. Love exists only in freedom, genuine encounter, and the generous gift of self. #PastoralVisit #Rimini https://t.co/q7Kyt8JLjt
Thinking about it, that might be why I’m drawn to people like Justin & Noah. Their lives are so interesting. They’ve faced so much obsessive attention, often times hateful to a scary degree yet… they’re still kind. I wonder if it because they have love, be it thru god or family
Had the sweetest conversation with my mom tonight. What a blessing it is to be loved, and to know you are loved. It really is the impenetrable force field that gives you confidence to move forward in life.
@meowtasker I have no ill will towards them, honestly. The knee jerk reaction to make someone feel bad about themselves stems from insecurity. When you know your own worth, and know you are loved, no one can take that away from you. It’s probably why Noah strikes a chord - he is so, so loved
@dmonkisser@elaineisinsane Well, from an artistic perspective, I was kinda drawing inspiration from Greco-Roman statues. He has very unique features, almost from antiquity
My radical position is that there is the spark of the divine in everything. Everything. When the light hits something right, there is nothing more miraculous than being struck by the beauty of the mundane. The world and the people in it are beautiful. You’re beautiful.
