@xMayaNaki @lunarrootrising @sheededonem i don’t travel often but if i’m driving on a road trip somewhere i bring my own pillows & blankets (since i have the space) & will sleep ON TOP of my own blanket at the hotel & wash them as soon as i return home. i also bring slippers bc hotel carpet… do not touch… …

@xMayaNaki @lunarrootrising @sheededonem well if u want the second opinion u were looking for i strongly advise taking any cleaning measures ur willing to. parent was a former hotel maid & they do the absolute bare minimum bc hotels put a time pressure on them & don’t really ball out on cleaning supplies

@lunarrootrising @sheededonem a family member of mine was a hotel maid & she was timed on how fast she could clean rooms for like $7 an hour, she made the effort seem comparable to basic training lmao, but effort in terms of hurrying her ass to do bare minimum required, not a top-to-bottom clean.
