Japanese idol culture may have some customs that are different from other fandoms, so we would like to kindly share a few guidelines to help everyone support the idols respectfully and comfortably.

1.Please avoid interacting with other people’s replies.

Please do not like, retweet, quote, or reply to another fan’s reply to the idol or the idol’s response to them, unless you are directly part of that conversation. In Japanese idol fandom, interactions with idols under replies are treated more as personal interaction between the idol and that fan.

2.Please do not use photos or videos taken by other people without permission.

Please do not edit, re-upload, or share photos/videos of the idol without permission from the photographer. Also, refrain from using unauthorized photos or videos as your profile picture, header, thumbnail, fan account icon, or any other form of editing material. Using other people’s photos or other content without permission is considered highly disrespectful to the content creator, so please avoid doing that.

These guidelines are not meant to exclude overseas fans. They are here to protect the idol, the group, and the fan community. Thank you for supporting the group with respect.
