I gave the Republican response to tonight’s State of the Union on Fox DC - and this was President Trump’s best address yet. He laid out a clear, optimistic vision to lower taxes, strengthen our economy, reduce crime, keep America safe, and honor our nation’s heroes. Meanwhile, Gov. Spanberger tried to spin her record of tax hikes and economic failures by projecting the failures of her party onto President Trump - with empty talking points and no real solutions. If that’s the best message Democrats can deliver, Republicans have a strong path forward heading into the midterms.
