U might want to put a little down on some Alcaraz futures before this Nadal match. Hype will be out of this world if he wins propelling random gamblers everywhere to destroy any value. Even if he loses u aren't going to see numbers like +2500 by his name very long ever again
Getting to this stage of a major has to be a physical grind for anyone but especially for first timers. Can't be easy regardless of how quick ur matches r beforehand, especially when u add in the immense pressure of the opportunity at hand. That drains a ton of energy also
Khachanov: I feel tired. As the tournament finish, I feel really, really kind of destroyed in a way, really tired. All the energy went down. We're almost three weeks in New York, preparing the week before.
Yeah, I'm really proud of myself obviously to reach the semifinals.
While everyone was debating whether Alcaraz would be tired Tiafoe's body decided to take a nap without his permission & it still hasn't woken up yet
Casper Ruud: “I think what's most fair is if we both reach the final and whoever wins the final reaches the world No. 1. That would be I think the ideal situation.
“If I go to bed as No. 1, I will sleep pretty damn well, I guess (smiling)”
@deke2021 I think Frances is going to leave absolutely everything he has on the court so the two sets isn't a bad idea between those two. Alcaraz ML has gotten a little out of control pre-match. Waiting for something live isn't a bad idea either in a match like this
@barbonmaric0n @deke2021 If u like that u could probably find "Alcaraz to win from behind" somewhere in case something like the Sinner match happens again & it's a back & forth, even if he does get the first
@deke2021 I think he will bounce back fine also but he did have that QF match last year here against Felix where he came in off two five setters & retired without showing any serious issues. I'm sure he's got his recovery routine on point though by now & being young always helps
