@DougPolkVids@LodgePokerATX Can you clarify when this promo occurs? Sounds like the promo begins as Friday ends and runs all day Saturday, but the lead sentence announces the promo being "this Friday."
If I show up at 2pm to take advantage of the promo, should I be there at 2pm on Friday or 2pm on Sat?
@davidelam871e@historyrock_ Yeah their second album only sold 30 million copies and is one of the top selling albums of all time. Oh youre referring to their third album? That one only sold 15 million copies. Yeah, definitely nowhere. ๐
@LodgePokerATX Can you clarify on the Tuesday promotion (1) if it ends at 6pm and hours played after that time will be charged hourly or (2) if 6pm is the latest that one can sign up which will then cover time played through 11:59pm? Thank you.
@RyanKun41864@DougPolkVids Correct. Each player can only wager a max of $500 now per hand. The max the pot could theoretically reach is $4500 (9 players x $500). It's intended to limit how much a player could lose in a single PLO hand when most NL players aren't used to the game.
@210Mattsa@DougPolkVids I've played probably 800 hours at the lodge this past year so I guess I've seen 1600 bomb pots (yikes). I've never seen a dealer not enforce the cap. Not saying it hasn't happened, but it must be a rare occasion if it does.
@DougPolkVids@LodgePokerATX I hadn't had a chance to respond to your text, but the bomb pot change is my #1 issue. Increasing the ante & cap will help significantly. The $3/$300 structure unnecessarily slows the game with the constant change. The rare scoop resulted in a nice, but not significant pot.
Runner runner straight flush against nut flush that I was the benefactor with the stacked $1200 pot. First time I've ever taken a picture of a hand. @LodgePokerClub
@JonathanLittle 77. On the flop, that's the hand that will be easiest to play out of position since you'll most likely either whiff the board or smash a set.
The other hole cards can flop marginal hands and you won't know how or whether to proceed.
@rampagepoker Last night a happy, drunk guy at the @LodgePokerClub was on a hella heater and up well over $10k at $2/5. In celebration, he was making rounds hooting about his winnings, dapping strangers and proclaiming loudly to the whole room, "I'm coming for you, Rampage!"
