THE RAIDERS DEFENSE IS BACK 🏴‍☠️

[Nick Walters @nickwalt]

"Maxx doesn't want to go anywhere."

NFL insider @TomPelissero's current reporting on the #Raiders situation is, "My understanding is when teams have been checking on this, they have been told the same thing that (Maxx Crosby) told everyone from Mark Davis to John Spytek to Klint Kubiak to Rob Leonard, which is Maxx wants to be a Raider. Maxx is no longer trying to get out of Las Vegas...

There are teams right now that would trade for Maxx Crosby. It could happen tomorrow. But Maxx is no longer of the mindset that he wants out. Maxx is of the opposite mindset which is, he is now a Raider again. He is going to do everything he can to be a part of the Raiders. Does that change? I don't get that sense."

.@TomPelissero on Maxx Crosby:

"He was back in the building working out, rehabbing. He spoke with Klint Kubiak, John Spytek, Mark Davis... He told everybody, 'I'm all in. I'm a Raider. I'm going to be here and be the best player for this organization.'"

Adam Schefter basically shut down any Maxx Crosby to the #Bears speculation on ESPN

“The Bears don’t have the money to make a move like that right now. They cannot afford it”

He called the idea of them finding a way to free up a bunch of money a “fantasy”

HOW WE FEELIN’, #RAIDERNATION?

[Maxx Crosby @CrosbyMaxx]

Everything Happens For A Reason. Believe Nothing You Hear & Half Of What You See. Im A Raider. I’m Back. Run That Sh*t. 🦅🏴‍☠️

[Jordan Schultz @Schultz_Report]

Few things on Maxx Crosby, per sources:

• The #Cowboys don’t plan on engaging again. They did the trade for Rashan Gary and are ready to welcome him to Dallas.

• Trey Hendrickson to Baltimore is going to be one to watch tomorrow.

• The Raiders are not happy at all. And they are going through how to proceed with this as we speak. No decisions have been made.

• Players the Raiders have agreed to terms with have not been told anything. Those deals can be signed tomorrow at 4pm ET.

• People close to Maxx Crosby are adamant he’s ahead of schedule and doubting him will only make him stronger.

Guys we have four 1st rounders over the next two years, $135M in cap room this year and the best coaching candidate in the cycle❤️

[Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter]

This is the second straight offseason in which Klint Kubiak took a job with Geno Smith as the QB on the roster, and then Smith was moved.

Last year, he was hired as Seahawks OC, and Smith was traded.

This year, he was hired as Raiders HC, and Smith was released.

"You're not just losing a defensive end if you trade him" 🗣️

@derekcarrqb explains in depth why he thinks trading Maxx Crosby would be a bad choice for the Raiders 🎙️

"Maxx and I have a great relationship...we talk on the phone, we text."

Said they've had great conversations and he's comfortable with where it stands. Noted he's at the facility working every day

[Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter]

Las Vegas GM John Spytek told reporters at the scouting combine in Indianapolis that he expects Maxx Crosby to be with the Raiders this season.
