🚨 PRESS CONFERENCE TOMORROW!
Join @NUBCNYC tomorrow (Sat 4/22) @ 12:30pm at Manhattan Detention Center, to call for immediate rescinding of the #Megajail demolition permit.
Here's what's happening 👇
Despite promises from City agencies and The Mayor’s office to discuss alternative plans to the #Chinatown#Megajail, we are outraged at yesterday’s Community Board 1 meeting announcement that the permits to demolish 124 White Street had been issued. (cont.)
We join our elected officials in calling for City Hall to immediately rescind the demolition permit and honor its promise to reconvene with community leadership on the merits of adaptive reuse as an alternative solution to demolition. (cont.)
