@GamifyMyWorld @wowsuchco1n @EchelonFND Good guess, but incorrect. Simply put, keeping the game and its funding private allows us to be more agile.

@ryzla_hq @wowsuchco1n @EchelonFND The urgency was explained with the grant - we were aiming for first to market inertia.

At the end of the day the community still voted it in, which we're grateful for - but we've opted to continue building it privately and haven't spent any of the PRIME (outside of 1k for P2E)

@wowsuchco1n @EchelonFND Outside the 1k PRIME we received for our tournaments, we never received any PRIME from Echelon.

The costs to continue development were paid from non grant sources, and we've made the decision to keep the game privately funded.

So no, we didn't trade grant PRIME.

After much deliberation, FungeLabs has decided to return the PRIME grant from Echelon for What the Funge IN FULL

To date only 1000 PRIME has been used for players who have been testing WTF, this 1000 PRIME will also be returned to Echelon. We have learned a lot working with Echelon and the community, and we look forward to staying engaged as we continue putting the final touches on the game.

FungeLabs looks forward to continuing the conversation with the community soon.
