Again, for decades, #Lukashenka has clung to power, feeding on lies and repression. This latest “election” is just another desperate attempt to maintain control. He doesn’t lead out of love for #Belarus or its people - he rules because he can’t imagine his life without power.
Continuation and build-up of the sanctions pressure, the deadlock and counterproductiveness of which has long been obvious, will not ❌ affect the course chosen by the people of #Belarus.
The Belarusians spoke in favour of continuing the path of building a strong & prosperous state and of forming our own model of a modern democratic civil society that is in line with our history, traditions and mentality.
The regime has stolen the people’s voice. There was no choice, no democracy, and no legitimacy.
Belarusians didn’t vote for repression, violence, or exile. They didn’t choose to be silenced or oppressed.
Are we surprised? Of course not.
This changes nothing. We’ve seen their lies before, and we’ll see them again. But no matter how many fake numbers they throw at us, we will continue to fight for truth, freedom, and a future without this regime
The near-zero score in recent years reflects an environment where independent media, free speech, and basic human rights are almost entirely absent. This is a stark reminder of the importance of continuing to fight for freedom, justice, and democracy in Belarus.
A grim reality for #Belarus regarding freedom of expression. With a global ranking of 158 out of 161, Belarus is categorized as being in a state of “crisis.”

The drastic decline in the expression score over the years highlights how the regime has systematically suppressed dissent and silenced voices critical of the government.
#Belarus: UN experts alarmed about widespread practice of conducting trials in absentia & without basic fair trial guarantees, which can result in lengthy prison sentences, deprivation of property & housing, or even the death penalty.

Their sacrifice must not be forgotten. We have a duty to speak their names, share their stories, and fight for their release.
Let’s continue to show solidarity and remind the world that these prisoners are not just numbers - they are heroes.
All the regime’s arguments can be dismantled by emphasizing international norms, the importance of free elections, and the EU’s LEGITIMATE role in supporting democracy and Belarusians who are fighting for their fundamental rights!
The third paragraph of the statement is a traditional set of clichés about the EU's support for democratic rights and fundamental freedoms.
This is hypocrisy against the background of illegal sanctions imposed by the EU on ordinary 🇧🇾 citizens. EU countries restrict their freedom of movement, financial, economic and other rights.
The regime’s argument portrays any criticism as undue “pressure,” but democratic accountability often requires external critique, particularly when internal mechanisms are compromised or suppressed. Diplomatic criticism is not equivalent to interference!
If such a statement of the EEAS is adopted, it will be another proof of the planned interference of the EU in the internal affairs of other countries and an attempt to cover up and legitimise its criminal actions against Belarus.
This is unacceptable for sovereign Belarus 🇧🇾
No matter the outcome, one thing is certain — #Lukashenka will be held accountable for his crimes. Justice will prevail, and the day of freedom for #Belarus will come!
Today marks the start of early voting in a process that is anything but free or fair. This regime may try to mask oppression with ballots, but we know the truth: the voice of the #Belarusian people is being silenced once again.
@AlgisRamanausk Tūkstančiai mano tautiečių miršta ir sėdi kalėjimuose kovodami už laisvę ir demokratiją. Jūs neturite jokios moralinės teisės teisti tautą, kuri visomis išgalėmis stengiasi nusimesti diktatūros pančius. Tokie komentarai žemina ne mus, o jus.
The whirlwind year of 2024 has come to an end. We are deeply grateful to everyone we met through various activities, not just live performances, this year. Our gratitude for your constant support only grows stronger. What awaits us in 2025? Let's look forward to it together. Until we meet again, take care.
