When Charlie came to WUFO, the team hadn’t made nationals since 2009 (13 seasons). Charlie turned the program around. He had played in 3 games to go to nationals in the last 3 years, and is 3-0, in large part due to plays like these:

Of every men’s Donovan nominee, that’s the most goals (2nd place has 22), the most blocks (2nd place has 17), and the second most assists (Roberts, 44) at nationals since 2021

The other? 2023 Will Brandt, a Donovan winner, team USA member, and UFA star
