On 21st June 2025 in Kinoo, Kiambu County, 10 unmarked Subarus parked at Ndiangui Kinyagia Apartments. The Subarus were unmarked and their plates were distorted.
From the cars, armed plainclothed police officers alighted wearing balaclavas and carrying guns. They ransacked Ndiangui Kinyangia’s house and took a number of items.
Ndiangui managed to photograph the inventory of items they took from his apartment and shared it with his family before being taken away into a Subaru.
His mobile phones have been switched off since then. He is being held incommunicado in an illegal detention centre by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations officers. His crime was posting on his X account @daguindd about the frustrations on the state of the nation. The court has asked @DCI_Kenya to produce him tomorrow morning. #FreeNdiaguiKinyagia
You guys are not good people you have left Ndiangui Kinyagia to suffer alone, no one is calling for his release. His family is scared and worried about his whereabouts, please retweet this so that he can get help.
Kenyan police cornered peaceful protesters in a blocked alley, beat them up, then teargassed them.
"Larry ukienda tutauliwa," one of them said. "If you leave, we'll get killed."

Yoeal is still being held at Capital Hill police station without a charge. It’s been two days already and they’ve denied him cash bail. We’re worried about him and need all the help we can get!
