Our Wunup website is officially up! https://t.co/dzWstyDQI6
- If it doesn’t grab attention within 5 seconds, visitors will leave.
- If it doesn’t show up on Google, you’re invisible.
This is how @scott_bair opens up his step-by-step guide to building a landing page. S/O @FounderUni for the insight.
We launched our new website, and we tried to build it clear and focused on the info you need, no fluff.
Attention-grabbing headline: About 50% of people might bounce if it's unclear. (The tip we followed: try to keep it 3-6 words).
Hero section CTA:
What's the primary action our users want to take?
What makes it easy and safe for them? (e.g., "no card needed," "takes seconds").
Highlight benefits: People want real solutions to their problems so think of it through your user’s eyes.
Show how easy it is to get started:
Example Zoom's "Get started in 3 steps"
Just shipped a fun little update to Wunup, and pretty stoked about it. Now, Wunup's daily steps progress bar shows you exactly how close you are to that 10,000 mark... and changes color as you get closer to your goal.
We're kicking around the idea of adding a content recommendation section that serves up podcasts, videos, or audiobooks based on how much time you have left to hit your step goal. So, if you're lagging behind in the afternoon, we might suggest a quick walk or a killer playlist to get you moving.
Would you use a content recommendation feature to hit your goals?

Once your feed is refined, the comments section is where people aren't just consuming content; they're expressing their core needs.
It’s been amazing to see people openly discuss:
- The specific pain points they experience daily.
- The solutions they dream of or are actively seeking.
- What would make them advocates for a product.
What if your target audience were handing you a goldmine of insights daily?
A ex CIA intelligence officer on Diary of a CEO mentioned people will tell you what they want you just need to know how to properly listen.
More in the thread:
Your audience is telling you their biggest problems and what they're willing to pay to solve them... if you know where to listen.
My process for tuning in has been:
1. Dive Deep, Don't Just Skim: Search my niche in TikTok, and then consciously like, save, and share the content that's spot-on. It's about training my feed to be an echo chamber of my target audience.
2. LIVE IN THE COMMENTS: I can't stress this enough. This is where the raw, unfiltered truth lives.
Any technical developers willing to help us out?? I know your time is valuable so this will only take 60 seconds.

– Can move quickly in sprints (we work async)
Our Tech Stack:
