Note: All patient details/appearances changed in all my comics for privacy purposes even if inspired by real experiences (not that my art is photorealistic in any way shape or form...)

I have not drawn anything complete for a looong time… but hoping to get back into it! Since I last posted art, I finished residency, started my chief year, and finished my first time attending! 🎉
Grateful to the students and residents who collaborated with me for patient care.
📣 Check out the @UCSFCancer breast team at the poster session this morning #ASCO24 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
🟢@laura_huppert #61 ADC sequencing
🟠@UCSFIMChiefs 🌟 resident Samantha Fisch #86 LMD outcomes
🔵Dr Jo Chien #193 ISPY EOP amcenestrant
🔴@hoperugo: #47 on elacestrant & #174 on saci
Thank you so much @KelseyNatsuhara ! Very happy to be able to attend ASCO for the 1st time and participate in conversations on how to more successfully recruit Asian women to research studies.
Very grateful for the mentorship and by @NiharikaDixit16 and the rest of our team!
As I’m reaching the end of R2 year (!) I am slowly catching up on team drawings (not in chronological order though oops). Here’s a recent one from MICU at Parnassus- great to rotate with team members of all specialties (anesth, crit care, ED) and to work with wonderful 9ICU RNs!
Fun resurfaced facebook 3/23/18 memory: Thank you comics for my MS2 Intro to Clinical Med course with @ReganHMarsh@LinShenMD@MatthewNehsMD where we followed them around like baby ducklings (hope you're all doing well!)
Not a comic but finally finished a crochet project I started end of 2021... for the end of 2022, I present Dr. Pikachu and the PPE-kachus! (Clinic miniatures by Re-ment) @Pokemon
Been a while (and I guess Twitter's still up!) but very grateful to my wonderful team during my first month senioring on inpatient medicine... I learned a lot!!
@TiansterZhang Yes, it was not ideal... I tried to get my intern to go sleep in the call room but with a lot of admissions and a far away call room we often just all tried to nap in the cardiology workroom overnight (which is what's pictured haha)
Last Friday night
Yeah we slept on tabletops, ordered enoxaparin shots
Thought through admits but I forgot, last Friday night
Yeah, we roamed through all the wards
and got lost in the ER
So we hit the caffeine hard, last Friday night
Do it allllll again
(A doodle re: PGY2)
I am on a month of float, which is widely regarded as one of the worst months for both physical and mental well-being… hooray! One of the interns asked me to draw a sequel to “Fox’s first night” when they were on their last night, and so I scribbled this.
I used to post my comics only on facebook and today fb reminded me that I drew my favorite comic from medical school this time 3(!) years ago on my gyn onc rotation. (My comics were way more scribbly back then)
@QuinlanSievers Actually my patient was waiting so long in the hospital to go home w hospice that we actually trialed a few different flavors of ice cream 😊
