Lord help me i cant stop thinking about noel noa's thighsssssss
I find it very funny that a lot of the Wattpaders are crashing out over learning that what they've been reading is, in fact, degradation, age-gap, non-con, BDSM kink fic.
Honestly I have this theory that people foam at the mouth when it comes to Ao3 tagging because it means acknowledging that they DO read these so called problematic tropes as long as it's unstated
DearWattpad refugees,
1--Archive of Our Own does not have an algorithm.
2--You cannot mass report a fic on AO3.
3--No one receives an email notifying them that a fic they reported was taken down.
4--The person who wrote Ao3's T&C is a leading expert in the First Amendment and a Harvard Law professor.
If you cannot handle the content you are finding on Ao3 stop making up lies and go back to Wattpad before Kinktober.
Y'all are exhausting.
Reference exercise, note: it’s Rin’s imagined scene of Isagi wearing very little and practicing yoga with her, only to get teased about it
Isagi: Rin, there's no way I'm wearing hot pants and a sports bra to practice yoga with you.
Rin: Who! Who would ever want to see you!
Again, YOU CAN REPORT THIS.
The rejection OP included in their replies is for a report about A WORK.
COMMENTS ARE DIFFERENT.
Please stop conflating csam/csem/actual harm in the comments to fictional RPF. You may not distinguish between fiction and real life but ao3 does
censoring/banning darkfic media wont ever get rid of it, i dont know why people expect it to.
its just like making gay marriage illegal. there's still gay people, they dont stop existing just because you get rid their right to get married away.
People talking about AO3 like that as if Twitter isn't the biggest predator ring imaginable, next to Telegram like you have no place to want that website censored over people you can barely control when you find excuses as to why you cannot abandon the biggest predator ring app
If you get the compulsion to imitate what you see in fiction, you need to see a mental health professional. Full stop.
This isn’t me trying to be funny or make a joke about therapizing dumb dumbs on the internet; that is legitimately not normal.
