@devildog2089 @stellaa_cyl @Terrible_Words @clownworld Whatever you feel about trans people its still disingenuous to use a pride parade, which many people on the right are homophobic and transphobic to, as a way to mislead other conservatives who prob are more likley to believe this to be real because of confirmation bias.
@ARussianSpy666 Evidence of what. Bugs not causing cancer. There isnโt any evidence they cause. All the adverse health claims can be applies to beans and polyunsaturated fats
@ARussianSpy666 Introducing new types if protein doesnt change culture. Thats like saying western countries shouldnโt have whey protein or import tea from India.
@ARussianSpy666 There isnโt really a reason not to. Thats like saying western countries shouldnโt have international restaurants or fusion restaurants. The point is the adverse health claims are bunk
@SharpToofSnail@Box_Car_Hobo@TestaCount35@RobSchneider The only gripe is with misinformation that bugs will give you cancer and that you cant digest them, and for those reasons bug protien should not be consumed. (Again everything applied to bug protein applies to beans and polyunsaturated fats)
@Box_Car_Hobo@SharpToofSnail@TestaCount35@RobSchneider You are talking about chitin. Not the whole bug. Which again (just like polyunsaturated fats) can promote cancer growth after you get cancer. Meaning it doesnt cause cancer. Red meat is a carcinogen and doctors tell you not to consume it during cancer treatment.
@ARussianSpy666 Its was suggesting bugs promote cancer and shouldnโt be consumed. (So does polyunsaturated fats). Also because we dont have enzymes for chitin we shouldnโt eat bugs either. Beans are no different.
