Water Advisory Update - The City of Sevierville expects to make an announcement later this afternoon after test results have been reviewed. New guidance will be provided to customers at that time.
4/4/22 Sevier Co has recently seen how a high fire danger within throughout the area. The approaching storm has increased the fire danger throughout Sevier County. Forestry has indicated that there is a VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER throughout the region. (1/2)
ALERT: Fire Departments in Sevier County say they are on high alert with dry conditions and high winds expected over the next 24 hours. Remember - do not burn, do not throw out cigarette butts!
Due to ongoing weather patterns beyond our control and the weather that is forecasted, Ober anticipates that we will not be able to open our Slopes for Skiing/Snowboarding in the upcoming weeks.

The Parkway is closed this morning from MP 355 (Mt. Mitchell) to MP 375 (Ox Creek Rd) due to a large oak tree that has fallen and is blocking both lanes. The road will remain closed in this section until the tree is cleared.
