@greateranglia hi, bus replacement service on the Liverpool Street line today but it’s saying 1hr? A journey by car is about 20 mins so do you know why it takes so long? It says changing at Cambridge north on the app but that cant be right as it’s further away

@greateranglia hi, looking at a bus replacement today from Whittlesford Parkway into Cambridge, for some reason @thetrainline is saying it’s over an hour journey with a change at Cambridge north. Surely this isn’t right? Won’t the bus replacement follow the normal train route?

@greateranglia @thetrainline Thanks for the info but a bit of a joke and don’t know how they get away with it - same price as a normal ticket and the replacement not only doesn’t take you, but actually drives past the destination to a station further away for their own ease. Will find another way into town

Do you know the reason why they’re going out of their way to Cambridge north instead of direct into Cambridge? I know you’re not personally responsible but info is appreciated
